Practical buying guide
Fat burners can contain ingredients that affect alertness or have been studied for weight-related outcomes. That is different from proving that every finished formula produces meaningful fat loss. PhenGold is our preferred disclosed daytime option when a supplement fits your goals.

Our recommendation
We choose PhenGold for a formula you can assess.
The full active amounts and clear daily serving are practical strengths. Our recommendation does not turn ingredient research into a guaranteed result from the complete product.

What would count as evidence that a fat burner works?
The strongest relevant test would compare the exact finished formula with an appropriate control while accounting for the wider routine. Outcomes, duration and participant characteristics need to be clear.
A list of references can still be useful, but it is not the same thing. Ask whether each paper tested an ingredient, an extract, a different blend or the product being sold.
Why label transparency matters even without a head-to-head trial
A readable label lets you decide whether you want the ingredients, assess overlapping intake and compare a full daily serving. That is why we favour PhenGold’s individually quantified formula.
Transparency does not establish efficacy. It is a necessary input to a sensible product decision, rather than the final clinical answer.
Amounts refer to the stated serving for each product, not one capsule. Extract weights, raw-herb equivalents and elemental mineral amounts are different measurements.

“Not included” indicates confirmed absence from the assessed formula. “Not verified” identifies a gap in the information available for this comparison; it does not mean the manufacturer hides the amount.
PhenGold: All 12 label entries are shown individually. The caffeine figure is the declared anhydrous amount; total intake also depends on other caffeine sources.
Capsule and other ingredients
PhenGold: Hypromellose capsule, silica and magnesium stearate.
Energy and fat loss are not the same experience
You may notice a stimulant effect before any measurable body-composition change. That does not mean the product has already burned a meaningful amount of fat. Caffeine research suggests possible weight-related effects, with limits that should stay attached to the evidence. [1]
Conversely, a product you do not strongly feel is not automatically ineffective. Sensation is a poor substitute for a relevant outcome and a consistent assessment period.
How we would judge whether the purchase adds value
Start with a realistic eating and activity routine. If you choose a supplement, use it according to the label and pay attention to tolerance, sleep and whether the purchase meets the practical reason you bought it.
Do not increase the serving because progress is slower than an advert implied. Review the wider routine, and avoid giving the product sole credit for changes made at the same time.
Our final choice
Our preference is PhenGold for clear quantities and a broad daytime formula. Fat-burner claims should still be judged by the exact evidence, with realistic expectations about an optional supplement’s role.
